The Development and Innovation Centre of SAP SE is located at lake Jungfernsee in Potsdam. The design responds to campus architecture while embracing the historical cultural landscape of Potsdam and thus assumes architectural personality mingled with strong horticultural character. The tree assemblage constitutes a singular genus, the Maple, which is celebrated in its diversity of eighteen different Maples composed on the site. The compilation of Maples — local species and others from all over the world — reflects the global character of SAP SE software company. The overall design is complemented by an extensive green roof fort of the buildings.
